A taxi in Trogir, run from Trogir.
Plejo is based in the town, not dispatched into it from Split. Airport runs, marina transfers, late arrivals and the short hops across Čiovo — booked ahead on WhatsApp at a price agreed before you get in.
Trogir is small. Its taxi rank is not always where you are.
The old town is an island of stone and steps, most of it closed to cars, and the rank sits by the bridge on the mainland side. In July that rank empties within minutes of a flight landing, and the walk from a Čiovo apartment to it with two cases is not the start anyone wants to their holiday. Booking ahead is how you skip that entirely: you say where the door is, we come to the door.
Because we live here, a Trogir pick-up is a short drive for us rather than a repositioning run from Split — which is why we can hold an early-morning airport slot and why a 05:30 departure is an ordinary booking rather than a favour.
Trogir to Split Airport
Six kilometres, and the shortest airport run we do. We track the flight on the way back, wait 30 minutes free from when you actually land, and meet you inside arrivals with your name.
Čiovo, Okrug and Seget
Okrug Gornji, Slatine, Arbanija, Seget Donji and Vranjica — the addresses a driver who does not know the island spends ten minutes finding. Send a pin and we will be at it.
The marinas
ACI Trogir, Marina Baotić, Marina Trogir and the Kaštela berths are five to fifteen minutes out. Charter crews change over on Saturdays and we plan for it.
Nights and early starts
Rides run around the clock — the last ferry, a 04:40 departure, a dinner in Split you would rather not drive back from. Book it the day before and it is simply booked.
Into Split and back
The old town, Riva, the bus station, Gat sv. Duje for a cruise call, or Poljud on a match night — one fixed price each way, agreed before you set off.
Day trips from the door
Krka, Šibenik, Primošten, Klis and the Zagora villages, with the car waiting while you look around. Set your own route by the hour rather than joining a coach.
How to get a taxi in Trogir.
Send the route
Where you are, where you are going, the date and the time, and how many of you there are. WhatsApp, phone, SMS or the booking form — whichever is nearest.
Get a fixed price back
A fixed price on WhatsApp in under 10 minutes (08:00–20:00 CET). Once you accept it, it does not move: tolls, luggage and waiting are inside it, and there is no summer surge on top.
We come to the door
The day before, you get the driver's name, photo, vehicle and plate. On the day, the car is where you said, and you pay in it — card or cash.
The Plejo Promise
Seven things we promise on every transfer.
- We meet you inside arrivals — with your name on a sign, not on a road outside the terminal.
- We track your flight — land late and we're still there.
- 30 minutes of free waiting, included, timed from when you actually land.
- A fixed price on WhatsApp within 10 minutes (08:00–20:00 CET, every day). Once agreed it doesn't move — tolls, luggage and fees included, no summer surge.
- You'll know your driver — name, photo, vehicle and plate, sent the day before.
- Card or cash, both accepted in the vehicle.
- Free cancellation up to 12 hours before pickup.
When a booked taxi is the wrong call.
If you are standing on the Riva at four in the afternoon in May and want to be in Split in twenty minutes, walk to the rank by the bridge or open a ride-hailing app — it will be quicker and usually cheaper than anything booked. Bus line 37 runs Trogir–Split all day and costs a fraction of any taxi if you are travelling light and are not watching a clock.
Book ahead when the timing actually matters: an early flight, a late landing, a marina check-in, more bags than hands, or an address the driver has to find in the dark.
Taxis in Trogir, answered.
How far is Trogir from Split Airport?
About 6 km, and typically 8 to 12 minutes by road depending on the Kaštela traffic. It is the shortest airport transfer on our list, which is why we can hold an early slot for it without repositioning a car from Split first.
Can I get a taxi in Trogir without booking?
Yes — there is a rank on the mainland side by the bridge into the old town. In July and August it empties quickly after a flight lands, and it is a walk from most Čiovo and Okrug addresses, so for anything time-sensitive booking ahead is the safer plan.
Do you pick up inside the old town?
The historic core is closed to traffic, so we meet you at the nearest point a car is allowed — usually the bridge, the Riva car park or the north gate. Tell us the apartment and we will name the exact meeting point when we confirm.
Do you drive to Okrug Gornji, Slatine and Seget?
Every day. Those are the addresses a driver from outside the area loses time on, and they are ordinary work for us. A dropped map pin is the fastest way to be certain we arrive at the right door.
What does a taxi from Trogir cost?
We do not publish a price list, because the honest number depends on the exact address, the hour, the passenger count and the luggage. Send the route and you get a fixed door-to-door price back, usually in under 10 minutes between 08:00 and 20:00 CET, and it does not change once you accept it.
Can you collect us at 04:00 for a first flight?
Yes. Rides run 24 hours a day. Book it the day before so the slot is held; quotes are answered between 08:00 and 20:00 CET, so ask during the day for a night departure.
Can I pay by card?
Card or cash, both in the vehicle. There is no prepayment and no deposit — you settle at the end of the ride.
Do you take bookings from apartment hosts?
Yes, and a good share of our work comes that way. Hosts in Trogir, Seget and on Čiovo book for arriving guests and get the driver details to forward on. There is a partner programme if you do it regularly.
